Mr. Amrit Pal Singh has served in several prominent legal roles, including Central Government Standing Counsel and Senior Central Government Counsel for the Union of India before the Delhi High Court, Standing Counsel for EDMC, and Retainer Counsel for the Enforcement Directorate, successfully handling over 4,000 cases across his career with a strong track record in high-stakes litigation.

Ms. Lovely Kumari, Advocate

Ms. Lovely Kumari is a dedicated Junior Counsel at KMJ Legal, bringing a strong command over Criminal Law, Civil Law, and comprehensive legal drafting and research. With a robust academic foundation, she earned her BBA LLB in 2024 and further honed her expertise by completing an LLM in Criminal Law in 2025.

Throughout her legal journey, Ms. Kumari has demonstrated exceptional skill in case analysis, legal research, and the preparation of precise and well-structured legal documents. She is adept at interpreting complex legal provisions and applying them effectively to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Mr. Jai Jaswani, Advocate

Mr. Jaswani is an Junior Counsel at KMJ Legal, focusing on Corporate Law, commercial disputes, and contract management. He holds a BA LL.B. (2024) and has completed specialized certifications in arbitration and mergers & acquisitions. Ms. Asees Kaur,  Advocate

With five years of legal practice and with a Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge, Ms. Asees Kaur combines world-class academic training with extensive hands-on experience in high-stakes litigation and cross-border advisory work.

As Head of the firm’s Criminal Defence Litigation and International Advisory practice, Asees appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi, and specialised tribunals. She has successfully defended clients in matters involving economic offences, white-collar crimes, enforcement actions, and regulatory prosecutions.

On the international front, Asees brings to her clients a rare blend of global legal insight and practical advisory skills. She has recently been appointed as Legal Expert by the Asian Development Bank and has previously worked with the World Health Organization’s South-East Asia Regional Office on matters involving public health law, regulatory compliance, and policy frameworks. Her advisory portfolio also extends to international trade law, intellectual property rights, and complex cross-border transactions. Approachable yet formidable in advocacy, Asees is committed to delivering solutions that are not only legally sound but also strategically effective—whether before a court of law or in an international negotiation room.

Ms. Manjeet Kaur,  Advocate

Manjeet Kaur is a dedicated advocate with a proven track record in handling matrimonial and property matters with professionalism, empathy, and strategic legal insight. Ms. Prachi Kwatra, Advocate

Ms. Prachi Kwatra is a Junior Counsel at KMJ Legal, specializing in Criminal Law, Civil Law, and legal drafting and research. BA LL.B. (2024) graduate, she is recognized for meticulous attention to detail and an analytical, outcome‑oriented approach.

She has developed a strong foundation in legal research, case analysis, and the preparation of clear, well‑structured pleadings and other legal documents, including plaints, written statements, criminal complaints, bail and interim applications, replies/rejoinders, affidavits, and legal notices. Proficient with SCC Online, Manupatra, and the e‑Courts portal, she maintains a precedent bank and drafting templates to promote consistency and speed without compromising quality. She supports client conferences and counsel briefings with page‑marked paper books and precise citations, upholds confidentiality, and performs rigorous cross‑referencing of annexures to ensure accuracy and cohesion across pleadings. Her commitment to clarity and procedural rigour enables dependable, end‑to‑end drafting and research support on complex matters, making her a valued asset to the Chambers.

Mr. Karan Deep Singh,  Advocate

Mr. Karan Deep Singh is a Junior Counsel, dedicated legal professional currently pursuing an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law at Queen Mary University of London on merit based scholarship. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience, he has worked alongside the Additional Solicitor General of India, esteemed judges of the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi and senior advocates. This experience has provided him with deep insights into litigation, drafting, research, constitutional matters and complex commercial disputes.

Mr. Singh has a keen interest in commercial litigation, arbitration laws, company law, consumer laws and white collar crimes. At Queen Mary, he is enhancing his expertise in international commercial arbitration, international commercial litigation and law of economic crimes. His current research focuses on the evolving duties of arbitrators, specifically independence, impartiality and disclosure, within the context of proposed reforms to the English Arbitration Act, examined through a comparative legal lens.

Known for analytical rigour and a principled approach, Mr. Karan Deep Singh aims to contribute meaningfully to the fields of cross-border dispute resolution and corporate advisory. Outside the legal realm, he is actively involved in cultural societies and is passionate about Bhangra and archery, which reflect his dedication to discipline, rhythm, and focus.
